Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways DLC Announced for September Release

Capcom has recently announced a new downloadable content pack for Resident Evil 4 Remake called Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways. This DLC is set to be released on September 21, as revealed during the September PlayStation State Of Play showcase.

The trailer showcased Ada Wong, who was Leon Kennedy’s assistant and sometimes obstacle during the Resident Evil 4 campaign. The footage depicted Ada battling the Los Illuminados, an antagonistic group, under the guidance of a mysterious voice over the radio. The trailer also offered glimpses of Albert Wesker, another important character in the Resident Evil series.

Interestingly, Separate Ways is not a new concept within the Resident Evil 4 universe. It was originally a minigame featured in every release of the original Resident Evil 4, following its initial launch on the GameCube. In this minigame, players assumed the role of Ada Wong, revealing her instrumental role in Leon’s success from the shadows.

In addition to the Separate Ways DLC, Capcom also revealed that the in-game Mercenaries mode will receive an update related to Separate Ways on the same day as the DLC release. This update will further enhance the gameplay experience for players.

Furthermore, a new trailer was unveiled for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 VR mode, giving players another perspective on Leon’s remade adventure. This highly anticipated VR experience is set to debut this winter.

Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways DLC will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC starting from September 21. Fans of the series can look forward to an exciting addition to the Resident Evil 4 Remake, offering new gameplay and insights into the beloved game.
