QI Solutions, a subsidiary of Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi), has entered into a five-year Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) to develop quantum technology applications in support of USSOCOM programs and requirements.
USSOCOM is the premier entity of the US Department of Defense responsible for deploying the latest technology for global special operations and activities, in collaboration with the US government, allies, and partners. QI Solutions is a nontraditional defense company that specializes in quantum technology, including sensors, computing, communications, cryptography, and advanced microchip solutions.
Under the agreement, QI Solutions will collaborate with USSOCOM’s Science & Technology (S&T) Directorate to develop advanced quantum solutions for use by Special Operations Forces (SOF) in their unique mission roles. The aim of this collaboration is to develop unique quantum solutions that can be used to enhance national security.
“We are very excited and honored to have the opportunity to work in partnership with the Department of Defense and USSOCOM to develop unique Quantum Solutions based on our advanced technologies that will ultimately be used to protect our country,” said Sean Gabeler, President of QI Solutions.
This partnership represents a significant opportunity for QCi and QI Solutions. It demonstrates the Department of Defense’s belief in the potential of advanced quantum technologies to address critical problems in a timely manner.
