PUBG Server Maintenance Causes Downtime for Xbox and PS4 Players

PUBG, the popular online multiplayer game developed by PUBG Corporation, has a massive user base, with over 100 million monthly active users on PUBG Mobile alone. However, like many other popular games, PUBG often faces issues and downtime. Recently, Xbox and PS4 players experienced a planned downtime due to server maintenance.

The PUBG support Twitter handle announced the scheduled maintenance and informed users about the reason behind it. The servers were down for a couple of hours to distribute Survival Title System Beta Season 1 rewards. However, the maintenance period ended up being extended multiple times, causing frustration among players.

After two extensions, the maintenance finally concluded. Additionally, further maintenance periods were scheduled to introduce updates and improvements to the game.

Player Unknown’s Battle Ground (PUBG) is a popular battle royale game where multiple players fight to be the last one standing. It is available on various platforms, including Xbox and PS4.
