New Trailer Released for Season Two of Quantum Leap

A new trailer has been released for the highly anticipated second season of Quantum Leap, which is set to premiere on NBC. The series, which is currently affected by the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, features the talents of writers and actors currently on strike.

The trailer provides a glimpse into what viewers can expect from the upcoming season. It showcases Dr. Ben Song, played by Raymond Lee, as he travels through time, visiting various historical periods. The concept of the Butterfly Effect, which suggests that altering the past can have unexpected consequences in the future, is also touched upon.

While the specifics of Ben’s time-traveling adventures are not fully revealed in the trailer, it offers tantalizing hints of what’s to come. Ben is shown visiting Area 51 in 1949, experiencing the Los Angeles Riots in 1992’s Koreatown, and traveling back to the witch trials in Massachusetts in 1962. One particularly exciting moment depicted in the trailer is Ben punching a Nazi.

Alongside Raymond Lee, the second season of Quantum Leap stars Caitlin Bassett, Ernie Hudson, Mason Alexander Park, and Nanrisa Lee. The season will also introduce new series regulars Eliza Taylor and Peter Gadiot.

Fans can mark their calendars for the season two premiere, which is scheduled for October 4, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. The episode will be available on Peacock the following day, with new episodes being released on a weekly basis thereafter.
