In terms of pre-loading the game, the dates have also been announced. The pre-load date for the Standard Edition of Mortal Kombat 1 on PS5 is September 17, at Midnight UTC. However, for those who have pre-ordered the Premium Edition, the pre-load date is September 12, at 17:00 UTC.

Players who have pre-ordered a digital copy of the game will have the latest update pre-installed during the pre-load process.
