Nintendo and Next Level Games have announced that Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will be launching for the Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2024. This visually enhanced HD version of the spooky adventure game was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS system.
In Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, players will join Luigi as he explores multiple haunted mansions and searches for the missing shards of the Dark Moon. Each mansion presents its own set of puzzles to solve and ghosts to capture. Armed with the Poltergust 5000, a superpowered ghost-hunting tool, players must suck up ghosts and blow air to thoroughly investigate every corner of the mansions.
The game takes a twist when the Dark Moon, which used to have a calming effect on the friendly ghosts of Evershade Valley, breaks apart and the ghosts turn hostile. It is up to Luigi to embark on an action-packed mission to restore the Dark Moon to its rightful place in the sky.
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD also offers a cooperative multiplayer mode called ScareScraper. Players can team up with up to three friends locally or online to conquer the challenges of a haunted building filled with unique ghosts and obstacles.
With its enhanced visuals and updated gameplay, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD promises to provide an immersive and thrilling ghost-hunting experience for Nintendo Switch players.
