Las Vegas continues to push the boundaries of technology with its newest attraction, Sphere. The latest addition to Sphere is Aura, a humanoid robot described as “the world’s most advanced.” Developed using cutting-edge robotic mechanics and artificial intelligence, Aura is one of the most expressive and lifelike robots in existence.
With the goal of transforming the live event experience, CEO David Dibble of MSG Ventures, a division of Sphere Entertainment, stated, “We are pushing the boundaries of how robotics can be used to enhance our guests’ journey through the venue.” Aura is designed to interact with guests and will serve as a “spokesbot” for Sphere on digital and social platforms.
Prior to events at Sphere, five Aura robots will greet guests, providing a unique and interactive experience. One of the upcoming attractions, “Postcard from Earth,” set to open in October, will feature Aura’s presence.
The inaugural event at Sphere, “UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere” by U2, will open on September 29th. Sphere continues to pave the way for the future of entertainment by incorporating innovative technologies such as Aura.
Overall, Aura represents a remarkable advancement in the field of humanoid robotics, demonstrating the constantly evolving capabilities of AI and robotic mechanics.
