How to Catch Fezandipiti in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: A Guide for Trainers

Fezandipiti, a brand new Legendary Pokemon, has been introduced in the Scarlet & Violet’s Teal Mask DLC as part of the Loyal Three. Trainers now have the opportunity to catch this majestic bird for themselves.

To catch Fezandipiti, trainers must first progress through the main story of the Teal Mask expansion. As they travel around Kitakami with Ogerpon, they will be tasked with defeating the members of the Loyal Three in battle and retrieving stolen masks. Fezandipiti’s location is on the east side of Oni Mountain, through the Chilling Waterhead cave.

Once the main story is completed and each member of the Loyal Three is defeated, trainers can return to the Mossui Community Center. Each of the Loyal Three will be present in their normal forms around Kitakami, ready to be caught. It is important for trainers to save before each battle, as there is only one Loyal Three available in the DLC.

Fezandipiti can be battled and caught in the same place where the Titan battle took place – the Chilling Waterhead cave. Trainers may find it useful to wait until nighttime to battle Fezandipiti, as it is a difficult Pokemon to catch. The Dusk Ball can be particularly effective in this situation. Alternatively, trainers may choose to use their Master Ball if they still have it.

Fezandipiti is a Poison/Fairy-type Legendary Pokemon that is always male. It possesses the exclusive Ability Toxic Chain, which has a 30% chance of badly poisoning the target whenever an opponent uses a move against a Pokemon with this Ability.
