Hills Robotics, a Korean distribution robot company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sari Teknologi, an Indonesian robot company, in order to expand its business in the Indonesian market. Through this agreement, Sari Teknologi will act as a sales channel for Hills Robotics’ various robots, including warehouse robots, guide robots, museum docent robots, and medical service robots. Additionally, Sari Teknologi will actively support the supply of Hills Robotics’ medical service robots to the University Hospital of Gunadarma University in Indonesia.
Yohanes Kurnia, CEO of Sari Technology, expressed his belief that Korean robots have great potential in the Indonesian market due to their affordability and high quality. He looks forward to collaborating with Hills Robotics based on this agreement. Park Myung-gyu, CEO of Hills Robotics, sees this cooperation as an opportunity to supply their warehouse robot, Lo-Robot, to the Indonesian market. Hills Robotics aims to export Lo-Robot, an intelligent distribution robot based on the Solomon software, to the factory automation and distribution automation system fields in Indonesia.
Hills Robotics, based in Pangyo Techno Valley, Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do Province, is not only focusing on expanding its business in Indonesia but is also involved in a smart power plant project with Korea Midland Power Company. The company has also achieved recognition for its innovation, winning the Innovation Award at CES, an electronic device exhibition in Las Vegas, USA, for three consecutive years from 2021 to 2023.
