EA Sports WRC, the first ever officially licensed World Rally Championship (WRC) game developed by Codemasters, has revealed its complete car list. The game features a total of 78 cars, including all three of the works Rally1 hybrid cars, as well as the WRC2 and WRC3 cars from the 2023 season. Additionally, it includes 68 historic vehicles from 15 different classes.
One major highlight of the car list is the inclusion of the 2017 Polo R WRC, which unfortunately never saw competition due to Volkswagen’s last-minute decision to withdraw from the WRC in November 2016. This gives fans a chance to experience the performance of the Polo R WRC in a virtual setting.
EA Sports WRC also introduces several new car brands to the Codemasters game, allowing players to drive iconic rally cars for the first time. These cars include the Vauxhall Nova, Talbot Sunbeam Lotus, Mitsubishi Galant VR4, Vauxhall Astra Kit Car, Ford Escort Mk6 Maxi, Renault Maxi Mégane, and Opel Corsa S2000.
The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC starting on Friday, November 3rd. Fans of the WRC can now experience the thrill of driving a wide range of cars, from the latest hybrid models to historic favorites, in this highly anticipated game by Codemasters.
