Denon Releases High-Quality DP-3000NE Turntable for Vinyl Enthusiasts

Denon, a prominent audio equipment manufacturer, has announced the release of its latest turntable model, the DP-3000NE. This turntable, targeted towards vinyl enthusiasts looking to enhance their listening experience, is designed to deliver accurate playback using high-quality components.

The DP-3000NE features a high-density wood cabinet finished in ebony veneer, providing both a premium build and aesthetic appeal. The turntable is seated on adjustable insulator feet to prevent external resonance from affecting the sound quality. Its brushless direct-drive motor supports playback speeds of 33, 45, and 78 rpm, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of vinyl records.

Equipped with a Technics-like S-shaped tonearm, the DP-3000NE offers precise vertical tracking angle adjustability, counterweight adjustment, and anti-skating tweaking. The aluminum headshell can accommodate both moving-magnet (MM) and moving-coil (MC) cartridges, allowing users to customize their cartridge choice based on their preferences. However, the turntable does not come with a cartridge included.

The DP-3000NE lacks a built-in phono pre-amp, requiring users to ensure their hi-fi amplifier has this feature or to purchase an external unit. Denon’s careful attention to detail extends to the removable dust cover, platter mat, RCA cable with ground, and various setup tools included with the turntable.

Priced at $2,499, the DP-3000NE offers an upscale option for vinyl enthusiasts seeking a high-quality turntable. Its release is scheduled for next month.
